Mary Ann R. Gaffney Zlogar, 80, of 564 Walnut Road , Steelton, died Monday, April 19, 2010 in Harrisburg Hospital ER.

She was a member of the former St. James Roman Catholic Church, Steelton and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish and St. Aloysius Lodge No. 42 KSKJ.

Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie Blakeslee Gaffney and is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, William J. “Boots” Zlogar, Sr.; two sons, Martin J. Zlogar and his wife, Heather of Colonial Park and William J. Zlogar, Jr. of Steelton; three daughters, Kathleen R. Thorn of Middletown, Candice Ann Kinter and her husband, Darrell of Dillsburg, and Linda M. Wood and her husband, David of Steelton; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Connie Gaffney, wife of the late Thomas Gaffney, Mary Ann's brother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons, her Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery . A viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:00 until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 So. Second St . , Steelton.
