Sondra J. Calhoun Yetter, 70, of Camp Hill and formerly of Steelton, died Friday, March 26, 2010 in Select Speciality Hospital, Camp Hill.

She was a retired Secretary for Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, with 18 years of service and a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steelton. She was an avid bowler and Miami Hurricane fan and participated in two bowling leagues.

Sondra was the daughter of the late Alton L. and Vivian Vaughan Calhoun and is survived by her husband of 50 years, Retired Major Joseph J.L. Yetter, Sr., USMC, three sons, Joseph J.L. Yetter, Jr. and wife, Krickett, West Lawn, Barry J. Yetter and wife, Monica A., Carlisle and Michael J. Yetter and wife, Jennifer B., West Lawn; one daughter, Deborah L. Haas and husband Terry, Linglestown; two sisters, Vivian "Lou" Brashears, Susquehanna Township and Vera L. Martin and husband John, Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren, Brandon Yetter & fiancé Leah, Jarod Haas, Justin Yetter, Drew Yetter, Trey Yetter, Craig Yetter, Riley Yetter and Ella Yetter and her loving cat, Ibis. She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia L. Brashears.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Second and Pine Streets, Steelton, with the Rev. Carol Parr, Pastor, Officiating. Burial in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 South Second Street, Steelton and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in her church.
