Ann J. Verbos Weisenford, 87, of 13985 Shipwreck Circle South , Jacksonville , FL and formerly of Poplar Street , Steelton, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Baptist Medical Center-Beaches, Jacksonville , FL.

She was a retired Utilization Officer for the US Government, General Services Administration, and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13 Croatian Fraternal Union. She was a former Girl Scout Leader at St. Mary's for the Hemlock Girl Scout Council, former First Aid Instructor for American Red Cross, former Steelton Civil Defense Coordinator and was an avid bowler and tennis player.

Ann was the daughter of the late Michael and Magdalene Cerjanec Verbos and the widow of Paul R. Weisenford. She is survived by two daughters, Jane S. Lewis of Jacksonville and Magdalen F. “Midge” Myers of Steelton; one son, Michael P. Sacca of Hillsboro , MO ; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 So. Second St . , Steelton followed by a graveside service in Churchville Cemetery , Oberlin with Rev. Samuel E. Houser officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roof Fund of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, 815 So. Second St . , Steelton , PA 17113 .
