James E. Rudy, 72, of Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center , and formerly of Harrisburg , died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the Center.

He was a retired Police Officer for Harrisburg City Bureau of Police and US Army Veteran. He is survived by two brothers, Harry Rudy, Jr. and Robert Rudy; three sisters, Vickie Rudy, Sarah Jane Rudy and Peggy Rudy; two step daughters, Jodi Moppin and Doris Miniun.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23 rd & Derry Streets, Harrisburg with Most Rev. Michael J. Scalzi officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery , Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
