Mary B. Diffendall Neubaum, 89, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in her home.

She was a member of the former St. James Roman Catholic Church and Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.

Mary was the daughter of the late James and Bertha Yestadt Diffendall and the widow of Fred A. Neubaum, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Fred A. Neubaum, Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Middletown and Philip J. Neubaum, Sr. and his wife, Diane of Elkview, WV; one daughter, Mary E. Neubaum; one brother, John T. Diffendall of Middletown; two sisters, Frances Whisler of Harrisburg and Rita Swartley of Swatara Twp.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons, her pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery . Viewing will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.
