Richard A. “Dick” Muzic, 53, of Lower Swatara Twp., died Thursday, April 1, 2010 in MS Hershey Medical Center.

He was a Security Guard for Command Security Corp., Middletown , a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School Class of 1974, and a Vietnam veteran of the US Air Force.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, 5 th Ward Republican Club, Steelton Italian Club, St. Aloysius Club, St. Mary's Catholic Club and St. Lawrence Club.

Dick enjoyed playing the accordion, golfing, horseracing, roasting lamb and doing home renovations.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Muzic and is survived by his mother, Catherine M. Kambic Muzic; four brothers, Joseph G. Muzic, Jr. and his companion, Nancy of Harrisburg, Edward J. Muzic and his wife, Stefanie of Marysville, Michael R. Muzic and his wife, Debbie of Harrisburg and Marty W. Muzic of Lower Swatara Twp.; two nieces, Jennifer L. Muzic of Harrisburg and Cyndi Muzic of Newport News, VA; one nephew, Spencer J. Muzic of Marysville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Andrew P. Marinak as celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 So. Second St . , Steelton.
