Margaret M. Feeney McGarrity, 88, of Kindred Place , 4700 Oakhurst Blvd. , Susquehanna Twp., died Saturday, January 2, 2010 in M.S. Hershey Medical Center .

She was a retired Supervisor for PA Dept. of Transportation and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret O'Mally Feeney and is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John J. McGarrity, Sr.; three sons, James T. McGarrity and wife, Jane L. of Middletown , John J. “Jack” McGarrity, Jr. and wife, Mary Ellen R. of Linglestown, and Thomas P. McGarrity and wife, Jennifer A. of Harrisburg; one daughter, Helen M. Fuhrman and her husband, Daniel L. of Linglestown; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 12 Noon in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St. , Swatara Twp. with Rev. Jose E. Mera-Vallejos and Rev. Msgr. Hugh A. Overbaugh, as concelebrants. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery . A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:30 am until 12 Noon in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.
