Ronald C. Logan


Ronald C. Logan, 72, of Harrisburg , died Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

He was a retired inspector for the former TRW Inc. and Chromalloy of Harrisburg and a US Navy Medic, having served in Beirut , Lebanon . Ronald, sometimes known as “Screamin Sam” was a musician in local bands in the 1960's and a DJ in various clubs in the 70's and 80's. He was a member of Lawnton American Legion, Mechanicsburg VFW, Verhovay Home Assn. and Progress Fire Co. Home Assn.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy G. Kline Logan; his children, Terri Wray of Swatara Twp., Ronald C. Logan, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Lower Paxton Twp., and Randy Logan of Harrisburg; one sister, Vicki Thumma and husband, Neil of Highspire; one grandson, Dustin Wray; three step grandchildren, Lindsay, Allison and Douglas Marion; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23 rd & Derry Sts., Harrisburg with Rev. Henry K. Wohlgemuth, his brother-in-law, officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 pm in the funeral home.
