Evelyn A. Boova Barbush Hand, 80, of Susquehanna Twp., died Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital .

She was a retired clerk for the PA Dept. of Revenue and a former clerk for Kinney Shoe Co.

Eve was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping at WalMart, knitting, putting puzzles together, gardening, playing cards and going to the casino. She was also an avid Phillies fan.

Eve was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine LaCavera Boova and the widow of William F. Barbush, Sr. and Robert A. Hand. She is survived by one daughter, Marcia A. Yarnell and her husband, Calvin “Pepper” of Lower Paxton Twp.; one daughter-in-law, Susan M. Falcone Barbush of Chambers Hill; one sister, Margaret Myers of Susquehanna Twp.; four grandchildren, Brian W. Fisher of Camp Hill, Kelley Ann Bittinger and her husband, Donny of Lower Paxton Twp., Dawn M. Barbush of Rutherford, and Craig W. Barbush and his wife, Jaime of Lower Paxton Twp.; four great grandchildren, Alysa P. and Alek Paul Bittinger and Devin T. and Myah Francine Barbush. She was preceded in death by her son, William F. Barbush, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:00 in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Bernard P. McGinley, her pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery . A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg .
