Dale A. Garrett, 74, of Palmyra , died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 in Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was a retired water plant operator for United Water of Pennsylvania with 42 years of service, a former tram operator at Hersheypark, and a veteran of the PA Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother, three sisters and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Metzger Garrett; his children, Desiree Sivar of Palmyra, Vicki Reid and companion, William of Dauphin, and Mark Garrett and wife, Kim of Sorrento, FL; four grandchildren.

Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery . Arrangements are being handled by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg .
