Dennis L. Wiedeman, F.D., President, Owner, Supervisor - Steelton 

Dennis is the President and Owner of the Wiedeman Funeral Home, Inc. and Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Past President and Member of the Dauphin County Funeral Directors Association; Past Chairman of the Board of SecurChoice (trust division of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association); Past Board Member - Mellon Bank; Consultant for Volunteer Training of Hospice of Central Pennsylvania regarding grief and the funeral process and laws of Pennsylvania; member of the Steelton Volunteer Fire Department, Steelton Italian Club, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #382, Train Collectors Association, Lionel Train Collectors Association, and MTH Railroaders Club.

Dennis is the son of the late Margaret E. (Houseal) and Joseph A. Wiedeman. He is a 1963 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and received his Associates Degree from Temple University. He then continued his education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, where he graduated with honors. He also served with the United States Army Reserves.

He has been married for 40 years to Patricia A. (Falcone) Wiedeman and has a daughter Lisa M. Wiedeman-Krosnar. Pat and Lisa are also employees of the funeral home.

He is a former member of St. James Parish in Steelton and its Advisory Council. He is a current member of the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish in Steelton. In his spare time, he likes to relax and work on his Lionel train platform layout and vacation in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.


James W. Taljan, F.D., Supervisor - Harrisburg

Jim is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, class of 1973 and received his Associates Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and furthered his education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1979. He began his employment with the Wiedeman Funeral Home in 1973 and became a licensed funeral director in 1980. In November of 2003, Jim began his 30th year with the funeral home.

Jim was born and raised in Steelton, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Lower Swatara Township with his wife Joy L. (Uhler) Taljan. He is the son of William S. and Margaret A. Manerie Taljan and has a brother Gregory Taljan, two sisters, Louise M. Taljan Szobocsan and Lisa Taljan.

He is a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg; the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and he is currently the Secretary-Treasurer and Past President of the Dauphin County Funeral Directors Association.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys gardening, interior decorating and collecting firehouse memorabilia.


William A. Sibert, F.D.

Bill is a 1986 graduate of Hershey High School, Point Park College in 1990, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree Biology and continued his education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1991. He has been with the funeral home since April, 1994. He currently resides in Lawnton with his wife Tammy M. (Doyle) Sibert and daughter, Amanda. He is the son of Robert and Georgianna Sibert of Hershey.

He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and President of the Dauphin County Funeral Directors Association.

Bill's hobbies include Scuba diving, traveling, spending time with family and camping and white water rafting.


Lisa M. Wiedeman-Krosnar, F.D., Marketing Coordinator

Lisa is the daughter of Dennis L. and Patricia A. Falcone Wiedeman and is the wife of John Krosnar. She is a 1987 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Elizabethtown College in 1991. After several years in corporate America, Lisa joined the family business in 1998. Lisa became a licensed funeral director in 2007.

Lisa is the President of the Steelton Business Association, serves on Steelton Borough Council and sits on the Steelton Senior Center Advisory Committee. She is president of the Steelton Community Development Foundation, sits on Prince of Peace Parish Council and the Prince of Peace School Development Committee and social member of the Steelton Volunteer Fire Department. She a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Dauphin County Funeral Directors Association, Dauphin County SAFE KIDS Coalition, Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish and a lifetime resident of the Borough of Steelton.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys visiting Stone Harbor, home decorating, shopping, entertaining, cooking, scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends.


Patricia A. Falcone Wiedeman, Administrative Officer

Pat is the wife of Dennis L. Wiedeman for 40 years and the mother of Lisa M. Wiedeman-Krosnar. Pat was born in Steelton, Pennsylvania and is the daughter of the late Anna C. (Mavrin) Falcone and Frank J. Falcone, Sr.

She is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. She is a former Girl Scout Leader for 18 years, former Treasurer of the Steelton Ambulance Committee, former member of the former St. James Parish Advisory Council and Activities Committee, and office volunteer. She is currently a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Steelton, Pennsylvania.

Her duties with the funeral home include staff management, funeral home management and most importantly counseling and consoling of the bereaved.

In her spare time, Pat enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, home decorating, and vacationing to Stone Harbor, New Jersey. She also enjoys writing poetry.


George E. Turnbull, Staff Assistant

George is the father of two children, Christopher and Maria. George is a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and Cumberland Perry Vocational Technical School. He currently lives in New Cumberland. He is a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, an avid Bowler, a member of the Harrisburg Chapter 7, 700 Bowling Club and bowls for West Shore Fireman's Bowling League. In 2006, George received recognition for his 300 perfect score bowling game as well as a commendation from Rep. Bruce Smith for his assistance during an airplane crash near his home.

In addition, he is a volunteer for the Fairview Township Fire Departmet - Fire Police Unit. George's other interests include sports with his favorite team being the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoys canoeing, camping and being outdoors.
