| The Wiedeman Funeral Home and Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home are proud to support the Highmark Caring Place/Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Annual Golf Outing. 2007 marks the 4th year for this outing. Each year, a committe from local funeral homes organizes and hosts the event with net proceeds this past year totaling $14,000. These dollars are then matched dollar-for-dollar by Highmark towards the Caring Place. Click on any of the areas below to view additional information.

In 2005, we were involved in assisting the National Funeral Directors Association in raising funds for the construction of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. Click here to link to the final project. |
| After the tragic events if 9.11, the funeral home partnered with the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and Senator Jane C. Orie, Pennsylvania to raise funds to construct a memorial in Pennsylvania at the site of Flight 93 in Schanksville. This was done through the sale of Hearts of Steel Bracelets.
